Air-tube earphones made for workouts, with a clothing clip and adjuster for extra grip.
Lab results. In a November 2012 lab measurement of an earlier Smart & Safe air-tube headset, the electric field was measured at a point the report labels "Base – 1cm" and again at the earpiece, with five phones. During a call with the test door closed, the reading was lower at the earpiece for all five phones (for example, iPhone 3GS: 40.6 → 1.5 V/m). With the door open, two phones read higher at the earpiece (Nokia 2330: 1.3 → 2.2 V/m; LG VX-8300: 0.3 → 1.8 V/m). Read the full lab report (PDF).
These are electric-field readings from an older model and older phones under test conditions. They are not SAR or health measurements, and the test did not compare against regular wired earphones. Smart & Safe products are not medical devices and make no health claims.
