What is ProShield?
A flat laptop tray made of silicon steel, aluminum and a foam layer. You place it between your laptop and your lap.
What was tested?
Ordos Technologies measured RF attenuation at 11 frequencies from 650 MHz to 20 GHz, and attenuation in the 3 to 30 kHz range, in a semi-anechoic chamber (June 2020). Every tested RF frequency showed more than 90% attenuation.
What do the results not mean?
They describe the tray in a controlled test. They are not a promise of full blocking in every situation, and they are not a medical or health claim.
Which size should I choose?
Compare your laptop's base with the tray surface: Medium is 13.8″ × 10.6″ (35 × 27 cm), Large is 15.8″ × 12″ (40 × 30 cm).
